He had a good start on loan but it's not happening for him anymore, he should be gone in the Summer but what is he worth?

Divock Origi's future has been thrown into further doubt this weekend as the on-loan Liverpool man had a nightmare match for Wolfsburg.

The Belgian international's temporary move to the Bundesliga initially got off to a flying start, scoring four goals in his first nine league games for his new club.

However, the 22-year-old's time in Germany has stalled since, only managing one goal in his last 16 matches in all competitions - the latest of which being a nightmare against Hoffenheim.

Wolfsburg were soundly beaten 3-0 away from home on Saturday, leaving them cemented in relegation trouble and teetering just above the relegation play-off place.

"We'll discuss behind closed doors what the reason for [his performance] was," Rebbe said after the match (via ESPN ).

"This was not a good match from Divock, you need to make that clear. We need to analyse how those 42 minutes could happen. This was not what we agreed upon during the week."

Wolfsburg had reportedly been interesting in making the striker's loan move permanent earlier in the campaign, but their interest has waned according to some reports in Germany.

TBh he is now worth 10mil no more. we can sell him to a southampton or someone for 15 or 20 i reckon if we just put him up for sale.

he's really not worked hard enough there at wolfsburg and they've changed managers a few times so whoever picked that club for loan wants shooting.

the thing is theres always a sucker with a bit of cash i nthe prem willing to punt on a young international striker. We will get him shifted.

I agree and would take a £10M like a shot he's constantly shown that he's not good enough, I've had the joy of watching him live and he's terrible head down and run merchant with no brain.

Look I agree, i just think someone will pay a bit more in this market.

Ibe went for 15 for no good reason, still not quite a prem performer and only for the security at bournemouth he could have got his manager the sack

I'm sure someone like swansea if they stay up or watford or southampton or west ham will try get him and the fee could be 20mil.

his attitude seems to have stunk this year.

I think that he's weak minded, he cannot handle pressure and crumbles when it's not going his way.

probably right. his season at his french club on loan waiting to come to us was utterly dire. he then came and did "ok" but then klopp keeps saying no rythmn which i take as he doesn't try hard enough in training.

Seems to be a very patchy player play well for 10 games or so and disappear for 20. in those 20 games he then offers nothing to the team

Shame as looked like could be a real player when was on form. That run in team couple years back at end of the season he was brilliant. Injuries and not playing consistently couldn’t have helped him.

Dont think gis trchnical ability is high enough enough for us - when you compare his ability on the ball to our currrnt from 3 it’s quite a drop.

His strength was his speed and strength but never really seemed to use it properly.

Hopegulky finds a secent club club to settle down and start scoring again though. £15m would be good business.

I just hope Klopp doesn't want to hang onto him.

Given what he's shown so far he's one of those players who'll end up drifting around clubs gradually dropping down the levels. Should definitely sell him before it gets any worse. 10-15 million seems about right taking today's market into account

I've always said he's not good enough. He's not terrible as a backup player but he was never going to be good enough to deserve to be a regular starter here.
