UTD are now equal with Real as the richest club in the world. Next year UTD will pull away from Real as the new TV rights will kick in. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...st-massive-TV-deals-boost-Premier-League.html
No way is The Smug One going to be permitted to get away with his usual **** at United. There are powerful voices in that club that will be silent only waiting for him to fail (which he will do) before they launch into him. Even if they manage to buy the kinds of players they need (without the boost of CL footy), the Smug One has got to get past Pep, Poch, Klopp and, so some extent, Wenger. It's a massive ask.
Like I've said elsewhere Leicester title stands taller than all 13 Man U titles in the Premier on top of each other . If you asked every Man U fan if this is true with a lie detector hooked up , they would all fail . But keep on pretending you've done anything special
Can't remember Man U winning anything when I was younger, I do remember United whoring themselves t anyone who said they had money, like Micheal 'keepie-uppie' Knighton, then buying success
The thing you fail to grasp is no United fan gives a **** about whether you value our successes or not. When we win stuff I certainly don't think "I'm not enjoying this as some pikies think it's unfair that United have more money than other clubs"! We celebrate the trophies while you grow ever angrier and more bitter. Works fantastically!
Every Man U fan knows they've accomplished nothing really in the Premier but they would never say so and just pretend they done something special . Nobody cared about Goliath..... Till. David came along .
If it helps you cope with being a Swansea fan (and former Liverpool fan) then you have to cling onto it Ruthie!
For years, we were all fed this bollocks about United and 'Pool being these two "special" clubs, with fans "like none other in the World." It was gut-wrenching stuff, but the media churned it out, and plastic after plastic signed up to it. Jump forward to today, and all of that has gone forever. 'Pool has been a mid table mediocre club for quite a few seasons now, and United have just begun to follow suit. Sure, both those clubs may have the odd bit of success here and there over the coming seasons, but they will never dominate like they used to be able to. Other teams have learned how to buy success, and it's watered down the glory-potential.
