When I arrived at the game on Friday I was really disappointed - almost hurt - to see how many supporters had turned wearing those orange T-Shirts in order to protest against Sainsbury's, and the number of people who were deciding to purchase them at the entrance to the ground.

I would love for Rovers to get a new stadium. It is something we have been working towards for years and with which we have experienced many frustrations. In fact, we deserve a new ground. But this so-called protest completely lacks class. It's petty, attention-seeking, and as a supporter of Bristol Rovers Football Club from a very young age, I thought we were better than this.

I'm sure Sainsbury's couldn't care less about this 'protest'. I know they have broken promises re the sale of the Mem, but I think we should just let the club proceed with its legal action.

Maybe some of you will disagree, but let's focus on supporting the team, who have given us plenty to be optimistic about this season.

Think we are all focused on supporting the team, however I cant see the harm wearing the orange shirt in the process of supporting the team <ok>

I got a shirt on Friday outside the Mem. I didnt purchase it. They were giving it away. I didnt wear it though as the printed words was done on the back of the shirt and just looks dumb and wouldnt fit right if you wear the shirt back to front. I just will use the shirt around the house now :)

Although I respect the intentions of those organising these shirts the message
on them does not make a clear protest message.
If you don't know the background to the situation they could even be seen as a Sainsbury's
    publicity promotion!!!
