Lets assume we get Wickham, Dong, Ngog and Shane Long Lets look at our strike force but stop looking at our starting strikers because we would have all of the above plus Gyan, Sess and Richardson who have all shown they can do a job up front. To me it give us two things we have missed for so long. 1. Options 2. Very good options from a strong bench. Now its still assumptions and its still June but Iâm feeling a lot better than I did.
If we can forget about "him that shall not be named", for me the final piece in the jigsaw other than defenders would be Salamon Kalou, can play left wing or forward. Still reckon there's another striker to come, but it's looking good. Now for shambles we call a defence.
I would love Kalou and dont think we need that much in defence. We know that Mensah needs to be replaced so its full backs, does the Bruce stick with Bardo and Richardson or not, I have a feeling it will be a not.
Think we need a big shake-up in defence.... For me, we only have one guaranteed starter, and that is Bardo, the rest is up for grabs....
No2 says it all. A strong bench. We lacked this particularly with injuries last season but we could possibly have a superb 7 players looking to get on and change the game.
I can't see us getting all 4 of whickham dong ngog and long. Maybe 3 with Long not being one of them. if we were 4-4-2 I think Gyan and Whickham would be first choice Alternatively if we get whickham we can go. ......................Catts........Colback........................ Larsson.............Sessegnon.............Whickham ..................................Gyan...............................
