The fat useless **** lives in Great North Park on his £200,000 p/year salary. How the **** he was appointed is beyond me.

To be fair £200,000.00 p/a is absolute peanuts for an executive that has all that responsibility, and anyone capable of the job would not accept that figure, We should have a team of 3 or 4 people earning around 200k each sharing out the jobs he is responsible for. That is where we fall short. Not only is Charnley absolutely under qualified for the job, his way over his head and as proactive as sloth

100%. It's not necessarily his fault, but my reasoning is that if he's going to take the job, he has to take the flak. We can't just say "well, he's over his head, so just another cheap Ashley appointment". It's true, of course, but he can turn it down. He can admit he's not good enough. He can walk away. I believe Mr. Irving did exactly that, more money/easier life at NCL Airport. I think Charnley gets off very, very lightly. If he felt the true heat - something Pardew deflected with unbelievable regularity 0 he wouldn't stick around. We need Ashley to have wake up calls, to trust a wider world, to employ proper people in their proper jobs. Where else in the World would your new manager NOT be choosing his assistant. It's beyond fcking madness, it's such an appallingly run club, relatively speaking.

What we have created is an even worse jobs for the boys culture than when cockneys were lining up for work.

I think we'll get Austin and then sign Bamford on loan with the option of a permanent deal. Don't know why, just think we'll manage to do deals for both of them which would be great business.

Defenders worry me, we'll not get someone proven like Shawcross or Alderweireld so it'll be an unproven foreign player. I personally think we just need a bully at centre back, no nonsense and does all of the ugly stuff well but can't see us signing that type of player.

Irving takes some credibility for walking away because he became 'disillusioned.' There is a lot wrong with NUFC that will take years to fix.

    1. Managing Director that has no business being in the job. He's stepped up from Secretary [responsible for administration and reporting to others with far more know how] to a position of intense responsibility. You simply cannot wing something like that. It takes years of experience to be successful.

    2. Graham Carr - Said it before and I will say it again; he has far too much power.

    3. Mike Ashley - No more needs to be said.

    4. Managers/ coaches - Token figures with little or no say in who plays for us. Until that changes we will never do anything and the ****e from last season will continue.

    5. Players - Invariably we will sign cast off's. We have had the odd gem, but since it's Graham Carr picking them, we sign absolute ****e.

To be fair, Ings isn't that good in my opinion. Sure, he's alright compared to whatever the heck Riviere is, especially as he was free, but I doubt he'll make any sort of impact at Liverpool. He's a championship player, and after a couple of seasons sitting on the bench, maybe one being farmed out, he'll move back to a club his level.

Liverpool's recruitment policy is not one to be envious of!

Still, we do need to press on with transfers. First an actual manager would be nice... Then two wingers, a midfielder, a striker, a left back and 2 centre backs....

Ings is a good player with plenty of potential. As they'll pay a small fee then good business. However I see him in the mid table striker category without some unforeseen development. Austin likewise although he looks a better footballer. Being honest though in England terms, Sturridge, Rooney, Kane are better which is why they are top 6 strikers. To be honest if Carroll could keep himself fit, he'd be better than them too.

Ings will just end up hoping Sturridge is injured. Austin will probably do the more sensible thing and join a club where he'll actually get games. Sturridge does get injured a bit of course. I just think its a risk to his development at this stage of his career, and he has plenty to improve upon.

For us Austin is about the right level. However West Ham have just let Carlton Cole go so I could see him there seen as they know Carroll will be getting titty ****s off the female physios all season. I am not sure where we go, we need to find another Demba Ba. Someone who has a bit of an issue which means he is a risk, but has the quality to make a difference.

You have to offload Riviere first though. To be be honest I don't know how you begin to do that. Forget offering to football clubs. I'd look into what other talents he has. Can he rap or sing? Maybe Simon Cowell can do something with him. Does he have a large appendage and staying power in the bedroom which could lead to a career in porn. Has he had any pins inserted, thus making some return by melting him down for scrap. We really need to think outside the box now.
