Evening fellas, obviously with THE game coming up, I've been reading a lot of peoples posts on here (from both the light and dark side of the north).

Some of the posts have been widely contrasting, with predictions from the heart and then from the head at total odds with each other. These have been mainly from the mag fans, with a heart 1-0 win and a 2-0 loss from the head. Those posts I've enjoyed reading the most are those of curious mags who don't seem to venture here to often and just want to have a genuine discussion with us as to the merits of the lads we've signed and to debate the strengths and weaknesses of both teams. Then there's the outright bravado of the usual mag clowns who come here to bait us, those whose bold claims that we'll get tonked and despite the players they've lost they are a stronger team for it.

Go to the mags board however and you'll see a different side to them, there are those who seem to be genuinely worried as to their teams chances this season (not just against us, but against the other teams in general) and their you'll see genuine debate amongst the fans who watch the mags week in and week out. Those who are realist arguing that untried Frenchmen can’t replace a double figure goal scoring midfielder, while a novice LB weakens them drastically, while others can’t believe that Best and Ameobi are the 2nd and 3rd choice strikers and if 2/3 of their first choice starting 11 drop out through injuries, suspensions or fall victim to Ashley’s tendency to sell first choice players and replace them with young, cheap or untried foreigners. There are those who say they are stronger now than last season, Ba will get them the goals (obviously), Best and Ameobi aren’t really that bad, the Frenchmen will hit the ground running and Ashley will invest some of his hard earned received transfer fee’s in a marquee striker and left back (<laugh>)

Optimistic, pessimistic, realists or gob ****e wum mags, **** them all, we shouldn’t be worried about who they put out, let them be worried about us and reading between the lines of their posts, I think we have them worried.

For Niall, Stokoe and Hurley, let’s give them hell.

We, or I in particular, am more worried about what Ashley is doing to us, rather than what you could possibly do. The bloke is raping our club from the inside, we lurch from one crisis to the next, but hopefully he'll be gone soon. NUFC is bigger than him.

"Then there's the outright bravado of the usual mag clowns who come here to bait us" ~ Don't pretend you haven't got them.........

We may be a little worried about you, yes. But we still have Joey Barton who sure knows how to rally the troops. And Shola. You may worry yourselves a little you know. You're no better than us.

Make no mistake, you'll know you've had a game on Saturday.

Thats your opinion sonny - I think SAFC is far superior to NUFC is every department at the moment.

I think we will win comfortably on Saturday - but even if we get beat of you, I am confident that we will still finish above you in the league as IMO we have a vastly superior squad of 25 players.
