Looking at our fixtures this morning, I realised that once today is out of the way, we have nine relatively easy fixtures compared to those we've played of late. Right the way up to Forest and Leicester. Could be a good run at hand! Come on you r's!
Serious question. What is the fascination for some of you Leicester fans with coming on here so often? You and Burnley have been our closest rivals for months, yet I feel no need to venture over to one of their boards.
No offence Raving but these threads drive me up the wall. Surely we're all long enough in the tooth to realise that football don't work like that? There's no relatively easy games in this division. Every single one is a dog fight.
No worries, as soon as they get few defeats under their belt they could not go away from here soon enough......
Every game will feel like a Cup Final now, there just isn't an easy one as every opponent will be battling for everything, remember Doncaster, the rot seems to have really set in since then...
it doesnt matter, the best we can hope for is the playoffs and we cant hope for easy fixtures then. even morrisons loan is delayed so it can include the final
That's looking optimistic now, I think we've blown it for this season. Harry will be out the door like a shot in the summer, back to square one...
With due respect to those who have rubbished the thread, I would ask you to look again at who we have beaten so far this year, and who we have lost to or drawn to. You will soon see a correlation. Our early season form was predominantly against those in the lower half of the table. We haven't beaten many of the top six. There are some games that are easier than others in this league, and I think those who refuse to accept this are quite wrong! I understand the sentiment etc, wanting to give due respect to opponents and not wanting to get carried away, but that's no reason to deny the stats.
Raving, before this afternoon, I might have seen where you're coming from. Deflated at present to say the least. We will do well to make the playoffs and I would remind most of us that playoffs was the highest most of us were aiming for last summer.
