Opposition Team XI - Best Left-Back Nominations

So with two shiny new centre-backs in the XI and the right-back position being revisited, Joe suggested we should run the left-back nominations concurrently in the effort of keeping things ticking along, and I agree so here we are. Same format as usual, nominate the one left-back who you believe put in the best performances against the mighty Saints home and/or away, easy peasy lemon squeasy - off you go!

 

Baines was great, Jose Enrique did OK, but it has to be Bale.

Kieran Gibbs had a good game against us at the Emirates, but then he was allowed to be camped in our half for the entire 1st 45

 

Yeah, I was thinking about Gibbs as well but I couldn't remember anything of him in the game at St Mary's. If someone could refresh my memory then I might be swayed to vote for him.
