Somebody recently started a thread on players who we would love to slap
too many in my case however which players do you admire, respect who are not one
of our Lads and why ???

My first one would be someone like Zola,I know he played for Chelsea but wot a player and he always played with a smile a real good guy.

I hate to say it but ever since Berghamp scored that blined at sjp I have respected him
i would not say I liked him but respected him as a player

rvp just for being a brilliant striker even though he never plays more than half a season.

TBF most of us would commit adultery for Imogen Thomas <whistle>

Opposition player I have most respect for is none because the're all a bunch of ****s. I admire Adam Johnson though, local lad gifted with natural quality ability.

I know it's obvious but the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, Messi. They're loyal, professional and humble.

And I guess that Swedish 4th division player who came out, the only openly gay professional footballer in the world. Brave.

Drogba, he gave 3 million of his own money for investing in schools in his own country.

Frank Lampard. Especially since that radio phone-in thing he did.

Can't stand his club or his girlfriend though.

Aaron Ramsey, a young lad who got a horrible injury but has bounced back, just keeps his head down and gets on with it. Really impressed with him.

The obvious ones from Barca, Valencia from Man Utd impresses me as well, just can't hate him.
