Hi Arsenal fans. I am a Liverpool fan, but I come in peace.

I have a lot of respect for Arsenal, with you nurturing of young players, your style of play and such. Though I find you both enjoyable and frustrating to watch.

This is my opinion on where Arsenal, and please understand its just my opinion. I would like to know your thoughts on what I am about to say, do you agree, and which result you would prefer.

I personally feel Arsene Wenger has taken Arsenal as far as he can. He has had some great success, the players seem to love him and he does great with the youth, but I can not see him getting Arsenal back to their title and trophy winning days. But, and this is a big but, I feel that with Wenger in charge Arsenal are almost guaranteed a good, consistent League finish each season, with Champions League football. I feel you will stay among the big teams, just maybe not top of the big teams.

If you get a new manager it could go two different ways, with the right man you could get back to the top, but with the wrong man you could very quickly drop and fall down to the table (as a Liverpool fan I know that's not a nice feeling). But I feel picking the right man would be very difficult, and there are a lot more wrong men than right men.

So, would you rather stay safe with Wenger or take the risk?

Or do you completely disagree with me?

I like seeing Arsenal in the top 4, please don't get me wrong. I am not trying to wind you guys up.

    Well written article.

I'd definitely keep him. It's only a matter of time before we win something. Only an idiot would want him to leave.

I would write more but I'm too tired.

Yeah I did write this rather late.

The thing I can actually most see Arsenal winning is the Champions League tbh. But the Premier League I just cant see.

Depends on the mentally of the Arsenal board also. If we are happy with a top 4 spot every year then Wenger is only doing what he is asked. And imo our mentally over the last 6 years has been to first and foremost to get a top 4 place. Its not suprise that the board backed Wenger with a big money move for Arshavin when our top 4 spot was under serious threat from Villa in 2009. And Arshavin was the boost that we needed at the time. This year we where safe in the top 4 around the winter transfer market therefore the board and Wenger did not feel it was urgent to buy a CB in order to win the league. That sums up the board and Wenger. A new manager is no use if the board keep the same mentally.

Although I am running out of patience with him he still deserves more time I think because of how much he has done for us in the past.

Dude your article is utter pap mate, well written pap I'll admit, but pap nonetheless.

Listen, Wenger has kept us playing Champion's league football for 12 consecutive seasons, paying a fraction on transfers compared to the teams around us. We are continually in profit. no other team has qualified tor the CL as often as us in that period.

So we know Wenger has a talent.

Lets look at the reason why Wenger has been nurturing kids. When he joined us he bought men, players to fill holes that he saw needed filling. We then moved tot he Emirates which coincided with Wenger promoting kids. This was due to circa £400m of debt, he took on the job of overseeing our move tot he Emirates and the "constraints that would be in place", anyone can see these constraints would be financial.

Wenger has managed to a) keep us competitive during this time and b) taken our stadium debt down to circa £100m.

We now have money to spend and Wenger will start to spend it. Many Arsenal fans couldn't understand why Wenger wasn't spending money, it was so obvious.

So without spending money Wenger has kept us competitive, things can only get better when he does spend the money.

So NO Wenger has not taken us as far as he can go, he's been fighting with one hand behind his back, time to go Super Sayan and kamayamaya some fools.

he has the ability to make Arsenal great again. what he lacks, is the fear factor. he needs an old-fashioned angry no2 to accompany him. his approach at present i feel is too "softly softly." Fergie breaks out the hairdryer, and lambasts his team. they have an element of fear of him in their play. Arsenal lack that totally.

I sense Arsenal have a fear of dropping when they reach about February, which strains them.
