After a season of one of our ex-prized assets playing for you... what is your opinion of Michael Chopra? We needed a 20-30 goals striker this year and he almost always guaranteed us that. But he had his issues.
Chopra is a class act. The highlight of the season is when the debt collectors turned up at the training ground after money. I expect that he will need to move on this summer to get another signing on fee to pay another load of gambling debts off.
I've heard he will be leaving and on his way by a few people. Hopefully not true, I'm happy to have him and I'd like to think he can get sorted. Feel there's more to come next season should he remain.
He had problems at Sunderland. Dave Jones treeted him like a son at Cardiff but still that was not enough to keep away from his issues. He is a class act but would be better if he could get over him gambling problems. Gutted to see him leave us and you, no doubt, benefited somewhat from it. Get him right and he'll be very good for you. However 14 goals this in the CCC this season was not too good was it... I'm sure you all expected more from him.
He's the first Ipswich player to net 14 goals since Alan Lee got 17 in 2006-2007. That's how ****ing dire we are!
Im not sure if it was because of his 'proven' reputation but for long spells of the season I thought he was 'nowhere' to be seen and a let down. You could argue that it shows his talent as he managed to score so many yet do so little but you could also argue that the lack of commitment done nothing to help our season. I suppose the fairest way I can describe it would be in a season of disappointments he didnt stand out in a mediocre team.
Chopra is a little fat cheating arsehole. His highlight of the season was Kasper Schmeichel saving his peno Not bitter just cant stand the bloke from his Cardiff days
He is gambling addict and your club has to keep paying his debts off. There you go. Anything else................. He will have to leave to get away from the bailiff's. Mind you he has found a club that pays his gambling debts off now so he may think he is onto a good thing and stay.
The club gave him a loan to pay off his gambling debts, why do they keep having to do this? They're sending him to rehab too. We tend to look after our players, maybe too much. I forgot that no Narwich player has ever done anything wrong. You neither judging by your pathetic grizzly girly comments you little bitch He needs to hit 20 goals this coming season and we've all seen enough of him to think this is possible. He was 3/4 of the way there despite being **** for half of the season.
Ha! And don't get me started on the bar bill.......................... I can't believe Cleggy fell for it..........ah yes a loan, I wonder how many times he has said that.
