On our way back from the game. Don't think we deserved to lose that heavily today, we played some nice football and looked fairly strong at the back. We play well as a team. I would love to see Adel trying a through ball rather than trying to take on a few players, that way the opposition would be less likely to jump into a tackle and he would gain more time on the ball.

Stadium improvements wern't much, only half the pitchside has electronic advertising boards, another electronic board over the tunnel but just says QPR.

Once we went 3 down Flabbio was booed etc. And the R block rightly sung "where's all our money gone" and "only one Mittal".

I hope we can build in certain areas, no one played badly for us but then no body sparkled either.

You seriously must be on here to wind people up. Its hard enough having to listen to that drivel close season, but after getting destroyed at home by Bolton its reprehensible.

Go and wind someone up somewhere else. Either that or go play FIFA where you can delude yourself further.

Bit harsh swords. We were the better side first half- and deserved to be ahead. There was no shape at the back in the second, and we capitulated after the own goal. Flabio was booed after he decided to leave following their fourth. Look at the bbc stats..it wasn't all bad?
That said, our defence was opened incredibly easily at times, we didn't keep track of midefield players running from deep.
Bit worried by derry/faurlin too, they were outplayed in the second.
Adel looked unfit/disinterested at times? He was a burden today : [

Just saying what I've been saying all along Grifter. Loopy I watched it on the Net and yes we were the better side for the opening '45 but the game lasts 90+. Gabbidon looks to be the new Rehman

Yes, Grifter, I agree with your summary, although I can't bring myself to say"it wasn't all bad" 'cos the game lasts 90 minutes and, on that basis, we were very bad.

Even in the first half our defenders weren't closing down the gaps behind our midfield. Warnock must've pointed that out at half-time because early in the 2nd half we were getting in their faces all over the pitch but once the own goal went in we just gave up and that was the worst aspect of the game today.

Swords, our defence needs replacing, they are only squad players at best. Adel is a selfish luxury even Barcelona wouldnt afford. But we played well enough not to have that scoreline.
We need a buyout ASAP or the team will lose its spirit

I was there today Loopy and I agree with you in the main that 4-0 was harsh. I thought we were the better team until the first goal but after that we were unfortunately second best.
In a funny way it might be the wake up call that's needed, lack of pace at full back exposed us again and Faurlin, who I think is great, was shown that he needs to toughen up to make it at this level. Better for this to happen early so we can address it rather than later in the season.
Shame for Dyer too, hope the injury I not bad.
    It can only get better!

Accepted Swords, thanks. Wouldn't it be great to see the back of Tango & Cash. Its like pulling a munter after a night on the lash only for her not to leave in the morning.

Yeah they helped out in a time of need but now its time to sell the club for real market value and naff off.

Shame about Dyer but we shouldnt be having to gamble on known crocks.

That's complete bollocks Swords!! If you really think Gabbidon looked that bad, you should consider taking up another sport to follow mate. He was our best defender today. Orr, on the other hand, was complere pants and run ragged by Petrov!

Duly noted Col. Looking at what the other boys are saying on the Gabbidon thread its clear he wasn't at all that bad today. I suppose what I wanted to say was its a pity we were forced to sign the likes of Gabbidon who, whilst probably aint that bad, is no better than the Championship defenders we already have.
