I will be in Hull for a few days after going to the Cup Final. If we do win the Cup any idea when an open top Bus tour through the city would be.? I'd love to be there to see that.

Why would he do it at Beverley? There'd be tens of thousands ready to turn out to applaud the lads and see the Cup in Hull. Doesn't make sense. But I'll be staying in Lund so Beverley would suit me personally but would rather have the atmosphere in Hull. So when would it be....any ideas?

I think someone was being sarcastic when they said something like that last week. It went along the lines of, "Hull Tigers will do a tour of the East Riding, ending in Beverley." I can't remember the thread it was in but as far as I was concerned it was just sarcasm.
Even if he doesn't like the council it would still be going to the KC. Same as last years promotion thing wasn't at the City Hall like in '08.

Be surprised if there where an open top bus tour of Hull. Can't have the City Council bathing in the glory of Hull City AFC. Don't you realise that was the whole reason for the name change. Will be a total disgrace if there isn't one mind, assumming of course we manage to win it.I think it would be the first time in the postwar history of the FA cup that an open top tour of the club's home town or city will not take place. Dr Allam making the club a laughing stock yet again, so lets hope the old twat relents, the players,Brucy and the fans deserve it. If he doesn't want to come he can stay at home and sulk.

Would start in Melton outside Allam Marine, loads of room for fans to line both sides of the road

Then through Ferriby past the Hallmark hotel, through Hessle centre , then through Anlaby Common

Then up Anlaby Road to the KC then into the City Centre , then back to the KC for an on pitch players parade where fans can enter the stadium free to see the players lift the Cup on a podium built in the centre circle

It wasn't sarcasm, AA met with the head of ERYCC to discuss an open top bus tour of the East Riding which would finish in the market place in Beverley and not go through Hull.

    It's ridiculous.

Seems Wigan had theirs 9 days later. So maybe the next weekend as its the Spring Bank holiday that weekend so either Saturdy sunday or the monday is doable.
