As probably the rest of the Cardiff posters, I've been asked via PM for an opinion regarding the current problems on this forum - I repeat THIS FORUM, no other. PMs are a decent way to chat over things privately, but this is too important for Cardiff members to enter into some sort of back room negotiations with mods from another board. No offence intended at all Sheepy, but I'm going to post my reply here rather than PM it. You may regard it as unhelpful - well so be it. If you don't like it then fair enough, I'll avoid the forum in the future. There is only one decent moderator on the Jack board, and that's Ash. The other two can be as bad as some of the posters they represent. I appreciate the need to sort this out, but the problem is ours, not theirs. In my opinion, there is no need to involve them in the running of our board. To my knowledge, they have never consulted our moderators for any input toward policing their problems - and they've had a shedful with their own kind let alone anyone from here. They were quick enough to ban some of our guys (their decision and I've no problem with that), but the double standards across there are appalling. They can't police their own posters on their own board let alone get involved with them coming over here. I've always been against banning posters - generally the problems die down and the instigators slope off having got their rocks off at the responses they solicited. Recently, it's changed. There is now a definite need to protect this forum from certain visiting posters who have no other purpose other than to disrupt discussions on this board. The Swansea mods may come across as well meaning, but apart from Ash, I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. Some of the things they've posted across there about this club and its' supporters beggar belief. CARDIFF mods for the CARDIFF board - the others can butt out. Taff, Bluesheep and PPBlue - make your decision on Cardiff poster's views - you will get no help from anyone else other than the super mods who are the only ones with any real power on here - the others will just pay lip service.
Did your advances to Mrs Sparky get rebuffed this morning? An unusual tirade. I've been self modding of late just to avoid the crap. Done plenty of reading of comments, usually just ignoring the obviously tarnished threads. It may well be time for some action though. We should be celebrating our opportunity in the top league whatever the successes or failures to come, not having to worry about rubbish from other boards. We've got to the Premiership, got rid of the millstone around our neck that is Langstons and are looking to sign a class of player we could only have dreamed of a few short weeks ago. Lots of reasons to be cheerful. Our neighbours up the road are now such a well established premiership club that they no longer have the need to consider their future, they are more interested in ours. That's their perogative provided they are courteous when visiting OUR board. I'm happy for our mods to ban those that are disruptive (swans, Bluebirds, or other supporters) though feel saddened that it has come to this. I'll continue to keep an eye on what is constructively said on here trying to filter out the dross, though that is becoming increasingly difficult. As I feel fit I will also provide my two pence worth. As has been repeatedly said, there ar a few good posters from the jack's board that visit, but even their contributions are dwindling unfortunately. Time will tell.
Hmmm...not sure what this is about so I'll stay out of it - for once Couldn't find anything on your board about Eboue so sorry this is off-topic and about football. Cracking signing if you get him. Malky will need all his powers of persuasion though! Would be a real coup I'm sad to say.
Aussie - wrong name mate - try Capoue. Dave spelt it wrong but it is up there and you are right about him being a cracking signing if it coems off.
I think it all snow balled a bit yesterday, give it a couple of days with the rules Our mods have laid out, then ban Phil if he carries on......
Thank you for posting this one Spark. I highlighted the main reason for intervention on our board last night and I stand by that theory. John is their first target eventhough he is already banned over there. I'm all for an open vote.
Maybe it should be like the waving an imaginary yellow card rule. Ask for a ban get one yourself. Both sides would need a captain then though who could question the mods, I nominate JH........ Being serious a lot of what he says should be straight in the wum bin, but OK Musty we get it, you don't like him. Can't you put him on ignore?
Musty, JH has not posted anything provocative since we have started to discuss a process. Your comments are not helpful and I ask you to stop or you will receive a ban yourself.
I know I brought up banning on this thread first (and I probably shouldn't have) but it was meant 100% light hearted and I really hope no one gets banned from this board.
Taff, It is time for a time out for some of our jack cousins, Im not for banning people at all but this one is so bent on point scoring against JH it seems to be clouding his judgement when posting.

No problem with that Swim - at least you didn't abuse anyone. Have they let you into the groovey gang yet, or have you got to get more abusive?
