Just need Modric to get his by a bus in the next couple of days and we are sorted. Ive heard Adebayor is very doubtful also. Hopefully Sunday will turn out to be a very good day!!!

  3. Parker doesn't worry me. Modric does, but if VDV can't come on as an impact player or can't support Defoe I'll be happy <party>

Not really fussed to be honest. If we are going to have a decent season we are going to have to beat a quality team with quality players at some point, so why not make it Sunday? Would be a lot more bothered if they didn't have Modric or Bale.

  5. The PL is a rough league and you need to enjoy every advantage you get.

I'm with tash. although we will undoubtedly come up against a big side at full strength at some point we should always be keeping our fingers crossed for any advantages. even the likes of man utd fans would prefer to play a spurs team shawn of bale or modric rather than play them at full strength. shame theres nowt wrong with either of them mind...

Of course if we should manage to beat Spurs on Sunday, we will once again be called "Lucky" because they had their best players missing through injury. <ok>

Its true. they'll be banging on about how much better spurs look on papaer even without there injured players then if we win they'll say we won for that very reason. we can't win...if we win.

I would rather Lawro etc keep on saying that we are lucky and that we have not been tested yet, keeps expectations low.

I'd be happier if Modric was injured.

  17. I don't think Modric is far better than VDV tbh.

    Overall, maybe not.

On current form though, Modric is far more of a threat. VDV has been out of form for a while whilst Modric is playing well.

  20. Still though, if Adebayor and VDV are out, then that means most likely that Modric will be pushed up behind Defoe, making the center of their midfield weaker than ours IMO.

Parker isn't as good as Cabaye or Tiote, and Huddlestone isn't either.
