    Morning All & BBBBBBBBBBBeddy <whistle>

Not the best of games last night, but heyho 3 0 I'll take that thank you.

Barney was just Barney & ran his cotton socks off & took his goals well, would have been nice to see him get the hatrick.

Lallana, just love watching those magic feet in action.

OXO, he did well, what I like about the 'nipper' is that he stays on his feet, when others fall down rolling around, & he just keeps going for goal. Boy did he take his goal well!

Super Kelv, when oh when is he going to stop dithering & ping the ball out first time, like Bart!! When he does ping it, it's the wrong time & we always end up in trouble.

The rest were pretty workman like perfomances.

As for the REFEREE!!!<steam> lots of freekicks for nothing!! got to be one of the worst if not THE worst at SMS this season.

At the end of the day 3 0, turn the page & move on to The Cherries on Sat. another 3 points there & it will be well & truely Owards & Upwards to The Championship (by the way Thank you Exeter, 2 0 love it).

bpl234 cannot win them all, but the late kick off e.t.c. must have been distracting, Jamie Curreton has always been a thorn in our side too, more worrying is the injury to Symes, was hoping to see how he coped with our defence on Saturday, hope the Ref is better quality than normal for Div. 1 and realises that the game is the important thing, not his ego. No dodgy penalties to give you ammunition to complain! May the best team win, we agree to differ on which team that is at the moment.

Hey yeah i know i dont get bitter but i think it was good that Bradbury admitted that Exeter were the better side and have said all along for a few weeks i think out trickiest period will be Exter Away, Followed by you then Carlisle away. After that i think we will be fine...
True Symes is a groin injury so who knows if it is serious or not.
Yeah if course looki am not bitter, and alwasy beleive if the best team wins then great, and i will give and take a little banter but just love the game.

So how was your performance last nite?

As per start of post bpl, good & bad bits, crowd were'nt as vocal as they usually are, & got on the teams back quite a bit, unfortunately, but it was one of those get the 3 points & move to the next game.

I'm just hoping that Saturday is going to be the CRACKER its being built up for. As you rightly say, may the best team win.

At the end of the day would'nt it be really great if all three South Coast teams go up.

Must be honest, did'nt give your lot much chance at the beginning of the season, but fair play they have done really well considering their circumstances, as have Seagulls<ok>

Really i think you early goal helped, not that i was at the game, but someone else i spoke to said it want a great game but 3 points for you.
So why are you not flowing with your football at the moment?

Yeah if course, we still have a chance and if you look at the league i think orient up are the ones who have a chance (look at their form). Saturday i think it could be a very frantic start or could go the other way and be edgy??

Well to be honest, scoring goals i thought would be our problem but did not think we would struggle as i dont think the gap between the bottom of league one and top of league two is much.. we have done well and if it is the play offs for us i woild take that....

I think we all know that there is still a long way to go in the this league, and all teams will still have blips and drop points etc..

Lee Barnard - One player who works his backside off game after game til the final whistle. True team player and really pleased with efforts last night. Shame he didn't get a hatrick.

Spot on Tactic's by NA : 3 - 0 up and pulling Alex and Adam off , good call.

Great to see Oscar Gobern come on and come close again to scoring, promising youngster we should keep an eye on!

Wasn't the greatest performance by Southampton ...but 3 - 0 means 3 Points and piling more pressure on our 'New Forest' Rivals.

    Well Done Saints!!

Shame Brighton's goal was a own-goal <doh> but from me to Exeter City ......

We 'Thank you' Exeter ....we do,
We 'Thank you' Exeter ....we do,
    We 'Thank you' Exeter....we do,
    Oh Exeter....WE THANK YOU! <whistle>

It wasn't that Saints played badly....they made the extra man in mid field pay and caused difficulties for us in those instances where the opposing plays 5 in midfield and of course we are home one of the back 4 has to go in there so that our front 2 can stay forward. With Lambo or at times Barny back there our threat in front of goal was minimised. In the second half Martin played may be 3/4 yards further forward and it made a difference. Apart from one little incident I was more than a little impressed with that lad. As I was with Goberne he seems to be another Chaplow in the making. Over all it wasn't that bad a performance although second half was much better than the first.

There were moments of sublime skill, woven into a pretty ordinary game. Some of the passing was sloppy, and there was a of hoofball. I swear that most of the time added on was due to Kelvin hanging about with the ball.
But the result is the thing. The table looks good and if we to beat Bournemouth, even better.
It is strange though, how I, and most of you I suspect got frustrated at the passing backwards from good looking midfield positions. We were in the lead and kept possession. Shouldn't I be content with that?
