A victory tomorrow will see us out of the relegation-zone.Two more wins against our local rivals and Hull will see us mid-table!!I know mid-table is not where we should be,but after our start to the season with a poor manager,we can only go one way with a quality manager...onwards and upwards!!
I put my predictions into here http://www.the-mustard.com/predictor.html and amazingly my first guess had us 12th after this weekends games. That depends on Villa - West Brom being a draw, and Cardiff beating Norwich. However, as long as we beat Stoke and the scum, I can't see us being below 14th (and above Hull )
I reckon a draw would see us out of the bottom three. We could even lose and move up a place if Chelsea batter West Ham. As you say a win would be a massive boost and a kick on the teeth for the likes of Hull & Stoke. If results go right tonight we could be out of the drop zone. But, just as important, we've gained an 'invisible point' over the last few weeks. Our GD was shocking but we would have a better GD than all but 2 of the bottom 9! How important could that be by the time Bruce, the fat lady, sings?
Interesting how Bruce is now reverting to type. No wins in Jan at all and a fixture list that doesn't look too great in the next few week. What is it with this bloke and slumps in Jan and Feb.....after all his bullshoite about the reasons for his sacking, I would love to see Hull go into freefall now.
Hull are in free fall mate. Poor old 'one point' Sunderland could be above them by the time they come to the NE. They haven't scored this year and are dropping a place every game. Bruce has dusted off his excuse book, it's never far away is it
