Never forget what Mr. P L Did for this club in those three years, We should all wish him well in his next spell But no-one need shed any tears In Mr. Hughton, we´ve found a new man Who´ll no doubt do things his own way, And he seems to fit well into our plan As his credentials clearly say Already the signs are that he´ll take his time No rushing head first into things, Thoughtfully working out how we can climb Seems to be a trait that he brings Each and everyone to his own and all that As long as the results are there, There´s far more than just one way to skin a cat As we start soon on one more year And if the next chapter of Canary lore Is as successful as the last, Well then I for one, won´t want for much more Irrespective of who´s in the cast Who comes and who goes seems on everyone´s mind But just as important to me, Is not whether A, B or C we can find But hoping they won´t rot our tree Which has grown and flourished, and withstood all storms As each new branch has taken shape, A unique work ethic which really does warm I´d hope we would not let escape So I´m looking forward as always, and keen As July soon heralds the time, For business to start down on the Colney green With Hughton and Co there, to prime. Hi RBF, well said, so many people are urging some action on the transfer front! Juust remember, fools rush in where Angels fear to tread, softly, softly catchee monkey, marry in haste, repent at leisure, - well a new signing is much like a new bride! Whatever we all wish, what happens will happen, just be patient! Hope things are well with you, sir, and I hope Rex is learning every day!
Afternoon Dave, as always with Rex´s of his size and age, they learn plenty each day, unfortunately they also tend to forget what they learnt the day before, such is life, and very good it is too.
