Manchester City defender's QPR move on hold By Jacob Murtagh Jan 12 2012 NEDUM Onuoha's £3million move to QPR has been put on hold while Vincent Kompany serves a four-game ban. The Manchester City defender was on Neil Warnock's radar before he was sacked this week, but new boss Mark Hughes is still keen on the 25-year-old, who played under the Welshman during his time in charge of the Blues. However, Kompany's controversial red card in Sunday's FA Cup defeat to Manchester United leaves City short of options at the back, and Onuoha is needed at the Etihad Stadium as cover. But the centre-back is expected to finalise a move to Loftus Road when the Dutchman completes his suspension at the end of the month. ****s sake,it's like everything's conspiring against us.Spurs wanted Cahill, didn't get him so we didn't get Bassong. We want Samba,King and Gallas get injured and now Spurs want Samba. Now this bollocks,he won't even get on the bench at City even with Kompany suspended!
We are doomed I tell you doomed.. Maybe he would have already signed if we had not of given NW the push?
Always, you watch Lescott and Richards will get injured and we won't get him plus the Cahill deal to Chelsea will fall through and Terry will get banned so Alex will get recalled into the team and we'll end up with Zesh Rehman and Perone at the back!I'm off for a stiff drink.
It's ok hammer. If all else fails we still have fitz benjamin hall. Everyone gets a chance under MH remember.
Why is Mancini playing Savic, who was weak against us and a liability last night against the Scousers, ahead of Onuoha? Can't say I've ever seen the lad play, is he any good?
I would sign for this if nothing else! The lad is quality, nuff said!
Lads, I know this is going to sound mad BUT, I'm kind of enjoying all the Premiership attention we're getting. The Irish newspapers now have big pieces on the Rs, I'm getting pats on the shoulder from all the Manures, Spuds etc in work. I'm getting recognition (not that I need it) for sticking with a decent hard-working team for 36yrs. You see, and I'm not normally a pessimist, but I was prepared from the start of this season for another bottom 5 scrap, and that's exactly where we are. We're used to these relegation battles and we will end up on the right side of it! Enjoy the ride lads, 'cos it's going to be a bumpy one with many twists and turns! Otherwise, boring mid-table Villa (where nothing happens......hold on, stop the press......the tea lady burnt the toast yesterday) are recruiting fans.....
Welcome Finn. Think we have another new poster, Igor, from your neck of the woods. What's the QPR connection?
1/3 to join now http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/nedum-onuoha-specials/club-after-january-transfer-window Judging by the odds we'll bring in all three of Samba, Onouha and Alex. Not sure I buy that, would be happy with just two but who knows
