looks like he wants to stay up north. Oh well, move onto the next one, at least we have 2 confirmed signing next week.
Let him stay there and wait for a right team. He will eventually find himself in Oldham Athletics......
Can't see the club and Mark Hughes putting in a offer without doing their background check, surely? That said, i still think we'll get him. An initial 6 month loan in which both parties make up their mind after assessing how it went and where we are come May.
What annoy's me is he could have stated months ago a move south does not interest him, instead of wasting our time
But then his name wouldnt have been in the media and it wouldnt have alerted other teams that he could leave.
his mother has cancer and is getting treatment up north. may have contributed massively to his decision. however blackburn also after him so IF he goes there we may just get Samba
not very good with links but did a cut'n'paste. However, I only found out in last 24 hours mummy was his agent aswell Daily Mail 30-12-2011 Coyle lines up Man City's forgotten man Onuoha as Cahill replacement By Sportsmail Reporter Last updated at 11:20 PM on 30th December 2011 Comments (4) Share Bolton want to complete a quick move for Manchester City outcast Nedum Onuoha as Gary Cahill heads for Chelsea. Manager Owen Coyle has already lined up a £2.5million move for New York Red Bulls defender Tim Ream but is also keen on Onuoha’s Premier League experience. Outcast: Onuoha is wanted by several Premier League clubs Blackburn were initial favourites for Onuoha but they are struggling to raise the funds as are Everton, while West Brom and Newcastle have other targets. Queens Park Rangers are also considering Onouha - but the former England Under 21 international would prefer to stay in the north west to stay close to his mother, Anthonia, who is suffering from cancer. Onuoha has made just two Carling Cup appearances for City this season, nevertheless the Barclays Premier League leaders will still demand a fee of around £3.5million for the defender. Meanwhile, Aston Villa have taken Nigeria international right-back Chibuzor Okonkwo on trial. The 23-year-old defender is a regular for his national team and would be allowed to quit his Nigerian club Heartland if Villa table a bid. His mum has definately got cancer - and really can't blame him for wanting to stay near her. Shame, as it would have been a good move for both parties, I think.
what has surprised me is that why the cancer treatment is being addressed (and the seriousness / type of cancer not mentioned), that IF QPR really wanted Onuaha that an agreement could not be reached to allow him to stay in north for a couple of days to train on his own. OR maybe he is another player with issues with barton.... still, cannot the club disclosing any of this.
