    <ghost> Liverpool fan on tour.

I've seen that some fans go on road trips to visit all the football grounds in England and Wales.

Well I'm not quite doing that I'm just going to visit every clubs board and say hello! May even visit Scotland.

Wycombe Wanderers were first on the list well done on their promotion.

If I'm on your board I'm just saying hello and camping out for a while pop in for a chat.

It's a bit quiet on here this afternoon. A lot of regulars will be off to Fratton Park for the friendly with Chelsea. I'm sure they will be much tougher opposition than our last opponents; a 4-0 win at Havant & Waterlooville (remember them?)

... and it's not going that well at the minute- we're losing 1-0- a Tal Ben- Haim own goal on 37 minutes put us behind

The Chelsea team is as follows:

    22 Ross Turnbull
    19 Paulo Ferreira
    2 Branislav Ivanovic
    35 Tomas Kalas
    3 Ashley Cole
    47 Billy Clifford
    12 John Mikel Obi
    18 Yury Zhirkov
    23 Daniel Sturridge
    9 Fernando Torres
    15 Florent Malouda

The Portsmouth Team read as follows:

    Henderson
    Ben-Haim
    Pearce
    Rocha
    Mokoena
    Hreidarsson
    Mullins
    Varney
    Halford
    Kitson
    Norris

According to the official Chelsea FC Website, Drogba, Lampard and Kalou are all set for a run- out after half- time :emoticon-0104-surpr

Still, there is the whole second half to go,

Thanks for the replies. Yeah I remember Havant & Waterlooville, took the lead twice.

How are things at Pompey now?

Recently been taken over by new owners, who appear to be "steadying the ship" at Fratton Park. A few new signings made to increase our 'modest' squad.

A lot of optimism for the forthcoming season. If we can sign say another five or six new players, it could well be an exciting season ahead !! <ok>

You must be looking forward to the new season ? Kenny D has made some excellent new signings for you - Doni as a reserve keeper, wow !

Doni is quality I was surprised he was happy on the bench at Roma. I like the Adam signing and am hopeful on Henderson and Downing. Also looking forward to Carroll and Suarez for a whole season.

The Liverpool squad is definitely starting to have a more 'home grown' feel about it. Kenny knows the score and I'm sure you will be competing with the best again on level terms soon.

We're just glad to still be around...and don't shout it too loud..but things are starting to look up a bit. <ok>
