Manchester City boss Mancini on Nedum Onuohaâs possible QPR move Friday, January 20, 2012 11:17 AM QPR transfer news: Mancini thinks the move could be completed today or tomorrow. Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini thinks Nedum Onuoha will be a QPR player by tomorrow and believes it is a good move for the player. The 25-year-old has been out of favour at the Citizens but is on Mark Hughesâ list of targets and yesterday it was confirmed that Rangers were in talks with the player. âI donât know (the latest),â Mancini said. âThey were talking yesterday. Maybe today or tomorrow, it is possible. âNedum deserves to play. He is a good guy and if he stays here he will maybe play one or two games. âThat is not enough for a young player.â http://www.london24.com/sport/championship/qpr_2_5433/manchester_city_boss_mancini_on_nedum_onuoha_s_possible_qpr_move_1_1182861?
It is not through want of trying though. Defence has looked ok last two games. We need a bit of creativity in midfield, that seems to be the problem.
Talks yet to take place over move to any club By Graeme Bailey - Tweet me: @skygraemebailey. Last Updated: January 20, 2012 4:21pm Nedum Onuoha's mother and representative has told Sky Sports that a deal with Queens Park Rangers is not set to be completed this weekend. QPR have revealed that they have made a bid for Onuoha, and City boss Roberto Mancini stated on Friday a deal was close. But now Dr Anthonia Onuoha has moved to clarify the situation regarding her son, insisting that he has a number of other options aside from QPR. "Manchester City officials have not given Nedum permission to meet QPR or any other clubs' officials with a view to holding face-to-face discussions regarding a loan deal or permanent move," she told Sky Sports. "The latest report of a move to QPR this weekend is, therefore, totally inaccurate. "Nedum has two-and-a-half years left on his current Manchester City contract and will only make a move that is right both for his career and family circumstances. "We have a number of clubs interested in him. He will weigh up his options before making any decision." Onuoha has attracted interest from a host of clubs this month, with Bolton, Blackburn, Everton, Wolves and West Brom amongst those believed to be interested. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7444868/?
