Just a few days left until our new sponsors step in and I can't imagine that either their or our PR people will let the day go by without a new signing being unveiled in the new kit. I can't help but think that something/someone has been held back to mark the occasion, so Pedro aside, who else do you imagine we might showcase on the day ..........
Can only be a striker if they are planning to unveil someone... Benzema or Cavani? Not over keen for either but that would be my guess if they were to unveil someone.
I work for Adidas. I can provide all the **** for the party. We have to call it A-Dee-Dus though and not ADI-DAS. We get told off if we say ADI-DAS
I used to deal with Adidas when I worked in sports management. They were largely regarded as muppets with money.
The only way this could get any worse is if Chelsea switch to Nike. The complete turnaround would be the kit equivalent of Samuel Jackson being killed by Anakin who in turn submits to the dark side and becomes Darth Vader
It's ok, I did see Episode I. At the cinema and everything. I think that was the last time I properly saw any Star Wars film.
In all honesty Episode 1 wasnt good and Episode 2 was only marginally better. But bcos of them, Episode 3 gets a raw deal. It's actually a very good film in its own right. The plot is very well done, particularly the 3 main characters. Although I appreciate I've given away a key spoiler lol.
All of the prequels were ****ing garbage. Episode 1 has the most nonsensical plot committed to film, yet still was the most enjoyable of the three imo, which isn't saying much. Episode 2 was the worst, completely awful. Episode 3 had some great cinematography but ******ed acting and overblown action scenes that became very boring. Did the end fight between Anakin and Obi-Wan really need to last half an hour and be fought over half the surface area of an entire planet? Episode 1 though, my word, the plot is hilarious. Makes no sense whatsoever. The Empire Strikes Back is the best film, not just in the Star Wars saga, but ever....
Heathen I think the fight scene was well done. Pure theatre Bod and it needed to be. That fight scene and what follows is what the whole series comes down to in the end. Also the sinister and machiavellion nature of the whole plot was well done. Finally, what makes the 3rd film so good is it's only then you appreciate all 6 films - the whole thing - is really the story of Anakin's life. The whole Star Wars saga is really the story of one man.
Some good points Bod. Where I disagree with this guy is that Anakin is never part of a wider story - he IS the story. Where I can agree with this guy is that IF the whole thing is a character study then Lucas is just not very good at writing and directing a series of films on a character study
