Yes because that's exactly why he's done it Charles. Couldn't possibly be because he thinks he needs to use everything at his disposal to stave off the threat of relegation eh? The future and welfare of a club he last managed over a decade ago surely takes precedence over that...
I agree Charlie, he told me himself this morning. Apparently it is due to Leicester having won major silverware and played European football in comparison to Hull..... just don't shoot the messenger that's all !!!
Think it's probably like some on your board are suggesting. Maybe trying to force your hand into buying him now to free up some cash for new signings. Or maybe other teams are interested in taking him on a perm.
Thats what can happened when you rely on the loan system I think its just Sunderland forcing your hand like they did with Meyler
I think the key to Hull's 2 top chance lie firmly with their owners They need to get Elmohammady back or replace him, get a decent keeper and a striker. They could be looking at about another 5M
Done us a favour? Didn't realise Elmohamady was Roy of the Rovers and single handedly winning games for Hull - I must not have been watching. Surely it's down to the whole team and the manager that you're doing so well this season, not just some Sunderland reject who's been recalled as they're short on numbers.
Looking at reactions on the Hullside, it does seem like he was a key player, and the backup isn't good enough.
Liam was quality last year under Pearson/Barmby in formations involving 4 at the back but the switch to a 3-5-2 really hasn't suited him, he's a good RB but doesn't come anywhere near Elmo as a RWB.
You should definitely come in again with a bid for Stewart, still a quality player and would be a great signing for any championship team Chester is still quality.
LOL no thanks to Stewart, we dodged a BIG bullet there last season!! Unless you want to swap him for Gallagher? fair swap
