I don't think MON would ever come back here

Other then cash he has nothing to gain

Already loved here, achieved legendary status, won 2 trophies, 1 promotion, finished 8th in the prem

People would expect the same which he will never be able to do. Anything less some morons will question him

Should he fail then his reputation here would then be tainted

NP came back but he still had unfinished business. He could still take the club further then what he did before

Martin O'Neill had just finished 8th and won the Worthington Cup (Capital One Cup) which got us into Europe before leaving.

For a club of our size I don't see how we could go any further then that

The momentum and feel good factor with the return of martin would be priceless, It won't happen though, but if only..<ok>

As you say, MON has been there and done it...Flat Top may have something to prove but havent we all......will your funders be prepared to give him the time.....the fans, fickle as we all are from whatever club demand success ASAP

MON is the only person I would sack Pearson for.

    Can't see it happening, mind.

As Proud says, he has nothing to gain, everything to lose.

Would it be the same as the feelgood factor resulting from the return of Mr. Personality?

    O'Neill is a busted flush.

I never wanted Pearson back. thought it was a panic decision, .ok ? There is no comparison between the two, to say o' neill is finished cos the deluded sunderland have decided to panic, is laughable... and betrays your limited knowledge of the game <ok>

O'Neill walked out on Villa after spending a fortune and got sacked after spending another fortune at Slumberland.

Sounds ideal for your floundering club. I hope you get him.

Couldn't agree more. He is a living legend in Leicester and if he came back and it all fell apart can you imagine... I won't go on!!!!!

why would you want O'Neil back?
All he's good for these days is spending ridiculous amounts of money on garbage - you've already got someone that does that <ok>

O'Neil is a worse manager than Sven!!

MON will not come back here, And like said before he could never achieve the same success with us again!
Just makes me wonder if Robertson was the top man? Because MON seems lost with out him.
