Article below contains some extracts from a recent O'Neill interview. Such a big game on Sunday - a 6 pointer already perhaps?! O'Neill has a terrific track record and will be hopeful to maintain his growing stature in football management. http://sportales.com/soccer/oneill-keen-to-alter-sunderlands-insecure-position/
It wont come as any shock to hear that I am still absolutely over the proverbial moon wioth his appointment and cant wait for the game Sunday now. A win and the O Neill bandwagon gets off and rollin. Anything else and its a matter of patience to let him work his magic. I just cant see us losing this game now whereas coming away from the Wigan game I was absolutley convinced we would lose it and our EPL status this seaosn. It wont be easy but I reckon MON will be looking for a top 10 or 9 finish this season as well and to do that he has to get the team beating teams like Wigan and Blackburn. I really think we will win on Sunday and by a good socre of 3-0.
