and keane from ireland apparently they didn't win a game in 2018 according to the bbc but they beat the usa nonetheless ****ters
... and the Republic, ranked 33rd in the world, failed to win a competitive match in 2018. The match against the USA was a friendly, hence not a competitive match.
Bejaysus, has yer man Meyler not got the Right Stuff after his exploits on FIFAManager Geek or whatever it's called? With him and Paul MacShane in harness oi tink it would be grand.
Whenever I see yer man Kilbane on Dan Walker's Football Focus he is wheeled out as Mr SAFC, Mr Baggies.Mr PNE, Mr Goodison and even the other week as former Town Terrier. He never seems to want to identify with our fine club- just like Mark 'Mr. Bubbles' Noble who seems to have forgotten how we moulded this callow one-paced sideways passing youth into the toast of the East End like he is today. Poor form, gentlemen..
Mick Mc going back to manage ROI again apparently - I doubt Keane will be offered a return as his side kick
Brian Marwood never used to make much mention of his getting a start at City. I was one of the group who chipped in to sponsor his kit as well the pillock.
He was back for Chillo's fund raiser earlier this year at New Walton Club, repaying the man who had been one of his coaches at City in the early 80s (google it OLM) . He spent a good hour sat with Boothy, Deano, Big Billy away from the main event, reminiscing about their Tiger times. He's got a great job at Man City, the richest club in the world, yet he found the time to spend at the newest club down Walton St at an event organised by former players of the greatest club in the world.
I am referring to a few years ago. Used to mention Wednesday and his move to Arsenal frequently. But not City. Glad to see things have changed. Terry Neill was another, Spurs and Arsenal stuff in his bar but no mention of City. BTW, why were former players of Norwich City organising an event down Walton Street?
Terry Neill actively sought out the Hull City Southern Supporters and welcomed them into his bar more times than we ever needed it. Shut up about things you don’t have any knowledge about, eh?
When I went into his bar there was no City stuff up amongst the Arsenal and Spurs stuff at the time. Which disappointed me as I liked Terry Neill. He used to chat regularly to a group of us who went to all the away matches in those days, often the only bus there although home attendances were decent.
Terry Neill devotes only 4 pages of his autobiog to his time at Boothferry Crescent, and on the cover it has the old Arsenal and Tottenham crests but not ours. Obviously aimed at the less discerning market then.
