Personally, I would like to see Meyler on the field and something like ...

    Gordon
    Bards-Killa-Turner-Colback
    McLean-Meyler-Catts-Sessegnon
    Campbell-Wickham

Who do you fancy Marty's surprise packages might be - Cook, Lynch?

I am going to be honest, I don't see him changing it around, if he does won't be as drastic as your team.

I think we could see a team of:

    ...............................Gordon..........................
    Bards..........Killa....................Turner.........Richo
    Larsson........Colback........Gardner............McClean
    ............................Sess....................................
    ................................Bendnter...........................

Thats the team I can see him putting out. He stated in that interview he would change it around providing he knows those players coming in will do enough to win.
I think Catts may be rested for a few games. Sess on the left would be a no go for me. Colback's best position is CM without a doubt. Campbell and Wickham upfront couldn't score in a million years.

Gordon I think will play because he played last night and was the only 1st teamer in the reserves. Warming him up for Saturday?

    Maybe Vaughan?

I meant to put McLean on the left and Sess on the right <silly me>

Don't agree, I think Colback's best position is left back, just my opinion like ...and he didn't have a great game last time out against Wolves.
-and I think 2 big young lads charging down the middle, feeding off Sess and Jimmy could be awesome -they'll both be raring to go!

Maybe allowing him to put himself in the shop window? - personally, I'm a bit indifferent towards him penning a new contract -OK if he does, not so bothered if he doesn't. Westwood has more than proven he is up to it at this level -recall his performance against the Villains in the home tie? Plus, I've had doubts about Craig ever since he allowed himself to be so easily bullied against Stoke last season.

See I'm not a fan of Vaughan..or Gardner really. I would not be disappointed if both of those left. IMO they don't offer much. However if I were to chose I would have Gardner....just though.

Sess on the right? I still don't think that would work. I can't see him being on the wing, for me he isn't a winger. He is the type who plays off the front 2, or plays in a front 3.

I don't think he is a LB, he is decent however not good enough to convert. I would rather have Richo play there. Him and McClean played well last time they played together. The reason being is because Richo gets infront of McClean, while McClean also helps out at the back.
Regarding Wickham, I have not seen enough for us or Ipswich to indicate he is good enough to play in the premiership at the minute. He needs time in the Champs. Campbell is coming back from another injury again - bench for me.

Gordon for me is the best keeper we have, and can still improve. Regarding Stoke last season - they had Carew, Jones, Huth and Shawcross all on him. All 6ft plus big players. Any keeper would struggle against them. I still believe if he proves his fitness he will be no1 next season.

So did they only play that combination against us?
I'm with Shameless on this - was never a big fan of Gordon and that display finished him for me.
When we played them this season SOL they still had Huth & Shawcross, can't remember if Jones played but they had Crouch as well.
Not only did Mig not let a goal in - tho admittedly Stoke were very poor that day - he also had treatment at least twice after standing up to their bully boy tactics.
Know which one I'd prefer in goal

Louis Laing -or is he still out on loan?

    I'd go for something adventurous:

    3-1-4-2

    Gordon/westwood

    Bardo, Killa, Colback

O'Shea (he has played DM for Man U before) or Meyler

    Campbell, Meyler/Gardner, Mclean

    Sess, Ji

I think we are going to see Elmo. He has been saying MON has told him he will get some game time before the season is out

    I'd try give...

    Ji, Whickham, Elmo, Meyler, Vaughan

    a run out

Gardner has been ****e in recent weeks so let vaughan in his place
Catts is injured/recovering so let meyler have his
Larsson apart from the man city game in recent weeks has looked tired so shove elmo in
Ji and Whickham, they need as much playing time as poss and therefore should be given it imo (if i remember correctly, Bendtner and Whickham had fun against aston villa last time?)

Can someone find out where he lives and tie him to his settee?
