...for me, and this word can also go for the whole season really - mistakes. Yesterday there were constant mistakes from most players really, and we never got going as a team. Poor passes all over the pitch cost us really. I also think it was a mistake to either play Diakite, or not to make him aware earlier of the way the game is reffed in this country. Hughes is to blame for that. I think everyone could see he was going to get sent off once he kept making those mistimed tackles. Tactics were also wrong. We sat back and let them play, compared to them being in our faces. One example is goal kicks. It took us 40 minutes to realise how to stop them from passing it out. Although we soon reverted back to letting them do it. Playing one up front also didnt help this - Zamora cannot close down to centre backs at once. Moving SWP to the middle is also baffling. He is far too lightweight to play there. We were getting played through so easliy it was like spreading butter. And we all know the mistakes earlier in the season. So for me the one word to sum up our season is mistakes.
Avant garde Sorry just getting carried away with some of my favorite words, I'll go and play on the interminable Norholt Memorial thread
You sound like Roger Moore when you say Recherché SB73. Good to see you and your dad yesterday Judo, my word would be... Déjà Vu, I was hoping it would be Retribution. Time for a signature change methinks.
