So that's 4 games in a row without victory, and in total 1 victory in our last 6 games, basically we have picked up 5 points from a possible 18, and we now lie in 7th place. To the Wenger brigade, please do come give a positive spin to this, after each result you always say oh there is a long way to go, yet game after game we have dropped more points rather than gain points. You say oh Chelsea are doing terrible, yet game after game we fail to make any ground on them, and at the moment other teams have made ground on us, Liverpool and Newcastle, and as a result, we now sit in 7th place.

Everyone can see the truth, we are rubbish, and the facts speak for themselves, as each week goes by, your petty excuses ring more hollow, but go on, do what you do best and make excuses and say how there's still a long way to go bla bla bla, you have been saying that for a month and in that time we have dropped all the way down to 7th, but hey, being 7th isn't that bad right, the other day you guys were saying being the 5th best team in England isn't so bad, so 7th isn't that bad neither eh? What's more laughable is you tried to argue being 5th isn't that bad, and yet we couldn't even hold on to 5th place and dropped to 7th! LOL.

Big changes are needed at Arsenal, starting with getting rid of Wenger once the season's up, his time at Arsenal is over, we now sit 7th in the league, that in itself a damning indictment on Wenger and how low he has taken us.

How many more of these doom and gloom threads do we need?! Yes, we're rubbish, our team isn't good enough for the top 4!

Until the Wenger Brigade stop making excuses and putting a positive spin on things, because their constant blind support of Wenger is going to further hurt the club. Wenger and the Board need to understand this is not acceptable, but when you have a Wenger Brigade around saying 5th place isn't bad, and bla bla bla that's not going to bring change and will allow Wenger to carry on with his sh!t policies.

And as for doom and gloom, the doom and gloom is based on facts, we are sh!t, we are rubbish, and our team is not good enough for the top 4 which is why we lie in 7th, we have turned into a disgrace because of Wenger. And to think we pay the highest ticket prices in England, with a further 6% increase this season makes it an even BIGGER disgrace.

well it depends on what bouncing back means? We are on complete sh!t form so anything would be bouncing back, but does bouncing back= good enough for a top 4? I don't think we will make the needed bounce back or recovery into the top 4, I don't think we will even end up in the top 5, I see us dropping more points away from home (liverpool) and continue to drop bad points at home, we have definitely sunk very very low, the club should truly be ashamed.

When a manager refused to acknowledged that Theo, Ramsey and other mediocre in the team are not good enough to make much needed improvement the we need. The manager has to go, it means he has lost the plot.

We are treading a very dangerous line now. We really need to pick it up NOW as we are starting to rely on other teams to play badly for us to get into top 4. How bad can Chelsea play? How bad can Liverpool play? Can Newcastle keep on wnning? These are all the points that are very real now. This has got to be the hardest for us to get into top 4 in ages......

Absolutely. Thank goodness none of them spent heavily in January. Newcastle got a striker, Chelsea a CB...hopefully they'll make a few mistakes. That's genuinely all Arsenal can hope for now.

We will probably fall away towards the end and finish 7th. You guys have an outside chance of 4th (you are not that far off) but I can see you finishing 5th. 4-7th is very close points wise so don't fear yet!

Well that is a major shift in your perspective. Up until now you have said we are doomed to failure. At least you are now saying we have a chance.

Really ? And what logic is this then ? "Stating the bleedin obvious" logic ??? Any twat can do that.

We lie 7th and are a one man team with poor players. The transfer window is closed so we can't get reinforcements. the one player many were hoping would come back to help, Wilshere, may not even make it back this season.

Now lets see you sheeple argue against PROPER logic, not stating the bleedin obvious <ok>

Half Full ... you are in luck my friend .. I am a very logical person. Here is some logic for you:

It is logical to believe that by continually selling your best players and replacing them with mediocre ones, the standard of performance will drop. Such logic confirmed by year on year performance by the team, each year from 2005 getting worse. We last won a trophy in 2005, then we got to the CL final in 2006 but we didn't win anything. then in 2007 we were well placed to win the league only for a Feb collapse to take place. So you see continual erosion is directly responsible for where we are as a club.

It is logical to follow on from the previous piece of logic that, if the players we are buying are not as good as players being sold and this coincides with a period of non -competitiveness, that the players being bought are not good enough.

It is logical to expect the club to do badly when the squad already lacks quality and you sell 2 of your best players and replace them with players that join after the season has started already - after the worst start in 58 years.

It is logical for fans to be upset with a manager when he continually plays players out of position or persists with tactics/players that clearly are not working.

It is logical for fans to question the goals of the club when the manager is quoted as saying Fabregas and Nasri would not be sold and that if they are sold Arsenal can no longer be classed as a BIG CLUB - he then goes and sells the aforementioned players. <doh>

It is logical for us to say we are a one man team because if RVP doesn't score we can't win games.

It is logical that without any creative midfielders we will struggle to score goals if the main striker doesn't score.

It is logical that, being in 7th place and out of a place in Europe that Arsenal are not as good as people make out. The table NEVER LIES <ok>

The bottom line is the bottom line of your quote. Your logic points to the current table showing the standings as they will be at the end of the season. If I were you, I would beg, borrow or steal every penny I could and place a mega bet at William Hill - you'll be rich come the end of the season :p

...but you won't because the current table is deceptive and I assure you that the last table of the season will be quite different from today's :)
