... is the reaction of the Norwich fans, at least if this message board is typical of fans (and why shouldn't it be?) There's been very few cries of 'Judas!' or 'snakes!' or 'Hanging's too good for them', but, more importantly, no one running around like Fraser in Dad's Army shouting 'Doomed! We're all doomed!' I thought if Lambert left there would be wailing and gnashing of teeth (and I never even dreamed of Holt tweeting that he wanted to leave), but everyone seems to have been very calm and even in some cases optimistic for the future. Just wanted to congratulate us all on our sang froid and our common sense!
A lot of other fans (not Norwich) thought the same and I sense a certain amount of frustration because we are not all bawling our eyes out and getting worked about about it
Let's be perfectly honest If we had been offered our current position three years ago who would have turned it down? Come to that if we had been offered Ipswich's position three years ago who would have turned that down?
And underneath it all I guess we all knew that Lambert is not the Messiah.....He's a very naughty boy!
Hopefully McNasty will put a stop to that, a nice little clause during the compensation talks perhaps
