(In recognition of how we´ve grown over the last couple of years) One reaps as one sows As everyone knows And three years ago August time, A man came our way And from his first day The seeds he sowed proved quite sublime A helping hand here Some tender care there Soon produced a prosperous yield, And all that he touched Just flourished so much All blossomed well out on his field But that he´d have shone Almost three years on In still the same effective way, Just how many men Would have thought, back then Personally, I´ll always bless that day From that lowly tier We find ourselves here Amongst the best teams in the land, Still flourishing well That it´s hard to tell That we arrived well before planned And one season more Now looms here before Our eyes, as this one nears an end, And with that in mind Now´s maybe the time To salute Lambert and his men If this summer stop We add to the crop With a handful of promising seed, Who knows what next spring And summer will bring With such capable hands here to lead With his golden feel For talent to steal I´d not back against him, you know, So that when that time Comes around, a fine Points harvest could again be on show. Very good sir! These have been the most joyous years for me as a norwich fan, and i certainly dont want them to end any time soon! I hope the performance of our club, along with the management staff we can find those "seeds" as early as always so they get time to grow and are ready to flourish come August
