    Is Peter Lovenkrands.

From what I've seen and hear of him he:

    • Is good in keeping the dressing room stable, and has good fun with the lads

Puts his all into every match

He actually does have a bit of quality

Is emotionally attached to the club - the celebration he made last year etc

So all in all, he is someone who we shoould keep, maybe not for sparks of brilliance and quality, but for pure Danish passion

Definitely let him play the last year of his deal, I think if he'd played all season he'd have managed 10-12 goals. Evaluate the situation at the end of next season, I wouldnt mind an extra year for him, good cover and a good guy to have around.

Yep, everyone has a go when a player is a mercenary and ****s off yet when we've actually got somebody committed to the cause and scores a few vital goals a season they get on his back and tell him to **** off cos he's not good enough.

definitely keep as squad player. I wouldn't want to rely on him week in week out but wouldn't mind him coming off the bench with 10 to go and chase things down.

I like his runs off the ball but for me his finishing just isn't good enough. For now we have to keep him, but if we sign some strikers in the summer then I think he will go. I would prefer Shola to go (with him coming back for the matches against the Mackems) but Lovenkrands is older and will get even slower (he used to be rapid, pretty average now). I love that he works his socks off for the team, but if you want someone to do that with not much quality then there's 45,000 fans every home game who would give their left testicle to do that.

Mehhh just keep him if he's on low wages. He's part of the squad, part of the team spirit and he's more depth for the squad.

I'm not saying he should be our number 9, but I'd rather have him here over Nile the gangster and Shola

His decision making lets him down but I would keep him for cup games because he is a decent finisher.

defo a squad player. Would be pointless to sell him, let him run down his contract give him a few sub appearances if in comfortable positions.

I'm pretty sure his weekly-wage is relatively low. Anyone got any details on this?

Can't be too much. Can't remember there being much interest in him when we signed him, plus we signed him as a Championship club

I would guess 20-25k a week. He's only played in the Scottish and German leagues before us, both with low wages. But then he was a free agent, so we saved money that would have been spent on a fee for him.

I'm not too sure, I would have thought so seen as though we got him on a free...twice!

Regarding weekly-wages...I have just seen that Owen was on £133,000 a week at us!

he'd bang the goals in if his left peg was a little bit longer. The amount of times last season that he was inches away from poking in an Enrique cross from deep...

Just not quite as sharp in and around the box as he used to be.

Wouldn't renew his contract, but keep him here as he can be useful sometimes.

He'll be past it when we renew his contract and hopefully we will be in Europe in that time. I wish!
