At the end of last season I just wanted to forget about football, I had watched the worst performance of a Liverpool team in a final ever. I was happy with the appointment of Klopp and was interested in how he would change things at Liverpool but I just couldn't stomach the lack of effort I was seeing week after week from a bunch of spoilt rich idiots and just needed a break.

I got over it as we all do and we're now early on into the new season. It's quite a transformation at the moment, the pampered footballers will run and run for the team. Liverpool are not without faults but it is certainly on the most part not down to a lack of effort.

Everyone loves Klopp and I was thinking about why? It's because he's one of us, a football fan. Klopp loves the game he agonises through every moment, he can't watch pens, he gets angry at mistakes, he heads every ball and takes every shot. We're lucky he chose us as he'd transform any team into something more. In interviews you can see his passion for the game, you can clearly see it on the touchline at every game which is hilarious, it's like someone has let a fan onto the side line.

Whatever the end result is of this season, I'm glad that in a football world being driven by money we have someone who cares about the game in charge of the club, someone who won't let the spoilt ****ers take it easy and coast through games.

    One of us.

Felt lovely out on the river yesterday. Nice and warm with just a slight breeze. Was surprised to see a few trees showing early sign of leaves changing colour.

The reason why I love Klopp? Because he's a top class manager. His personality is an added bonus.

Incredibly lucky to get him in our state.

yeah if he were not a top top manager he'd be really ****ing annoying.

putting winning or really trying hard to win together with passion and commitment and giving a **** really wins fans over.

We are all really glad we have him and not a fake toothed midget with a tan and trousers two sides to small for him who thinks thats required to "fit in"

klopp just is himself and thats just the best part of it... there's an authentic fell to the guy that when married with us middle aged (or older) guys beliefs in how it should be done... well its ideal for us.

The contrast to mourinho and utd's spending is stark. that would be utterly alien to us.

    ??

    Just repeating what Astro said.
I think Klopp is a great manager, and a good character to have in the PL.

Wouldn't say he's the best manager now - Pep and Simeone are up their for me.

But Klopp is certainly one of the best managers around and certainly the best man for the LFC job. <ok>

Klopp is authentic. He hasn't had to do anything to fit in, he just does. His love of football and passion to win is what drives him. Added to that, he's been completely loyal to the sides he's managed and I fully expect him to be the same with us i.e. he won't be off for the first club who offer him a big pay rise.

As long as the owners give him the means to do what he wishes to do (within reason) then no reason he will leave us early. He said himself if he doesn't win something with us in 3 years then he has himself to blame and it will be a failure.

He has full control, owners back him, fans love him. If we fail then he only has himself to look at, no excuses.
