I want Newcastle to win :-/ awful as it is we need them to do us a favour and beat Wigan. If we do our job and beat Norwich we will be 9 points clear of the drop zone. I just have a feeling that Newcastle will be heavy legged after Thursday and Wigan will take advantage of it and make things incredibly awkward down the bottom.

QPR might have had the wind sucked from their sails today and I see nothing but a thumping for Reading at Old Trafford. Its gotta be Wigan for that other place if we are to stay up I think. Tomorrow couldn't get any bigger.

If we beat Norwich and Wigan beat the Skunks, then we go above them..So I would go for that scenario..

That would leave us only 6 points clear of the drop zone though with Chelsea and Man Utd coming up before derby day

I love to see the mags lose but our survival is much more important than wanting them to lose to wigan

Wigan will beat us, we're terrible down there. Cabaye is out and our players have been playing extra games for weeks now. Plus Wigan beat everyone this time of year (did you see them last week!!) and i think they've got more winnable games in their run-in than any of the other teams down there - i can still see them getting 36-40 points.

I'm torn, I want Newcastle to win as we aren't out of the dog-fight by any stretch (though a win would give us a 12 point gap...) but would love to see Villa go down.

As for you guys you simply have to win and then it all looks different, i think you'll struggle to get a point from the three games afterwards (april looks a nasty month for you as Everton have a good record against you if i recall) but May should see you fine - 4 points at least from home against southampton and stoke (both of whom will have nothing to play for) so even if you've only got 31-33 points by then i think 35-36 points will be enough to stay up.
