One of my most hated questions in football

"Where would they be without [insert top scorers name]'s goals this season?"

Well... Chances are they'd have someone else playing in the same position... Or they'd be relegated! It's a stupid question and it does my head it

Yep we do... But it's when a club has a scorer with 30ish goals they ask it and that does my head in. One of the most pointless hypothetical questions ip there is

 

Kane's hit 30 goals for Spurs this season, and we know there aren't many players scoring that many this season.

So we know where Spurs wouldn't have been, without him!

 

No we don't... Without those 30 goals we know where they'd be... Without him we have no idea as their May have been someone else to score them

 

I'll qualify it and say we know it's unlikely they'd be 7th on 53 points without Kane's 19 league goals

Just watched the first half, and abysmal going forward, play the ball to Defoe's frigging feet will they ? run at the defence and stop lobbing balls to fresh air as well. Addvacart should realise this and change it, and bring Watmore and Johnson on.

 

I don't reckon Spurs envisaged getting anywhere near this sort of return from Kane, he wasn't a regular when the season started.

Without Kane's goals, I doubt Soldado and Donkebayor would have got them many, nor do I think they'd have bought another striker.

That's the exception to the rule though, Marcus I agree.
