The old saying goes "cheats never prosper". DJ cheated by punching the ball in the net & we lost (again) good news is we are now in the international break which gives ME 2 weeks to do the decent thing & get rid of PJ. If he decides to keep faith with the manager, I fear L1 football next year.

shows the margins in this league that first vs 2nd bottom is a relatively even affair. would have been sickening to lose through such an obvious handball but JET missed a clear cut chance which let us off.

We were the better team until DJ went off, but then if he'd been fit enough to play a full match he wouldn't be here. Wellens was decent too. Didn't deserve to lose. Town played very well, which suggests to me that Jewell is staying put. Sorry!
A poor game by both sides I can only remember Marshall making one save which was from a long range effort! And we had 2 chances and scored them! All the goals today were through in decisive defending you deserved your goal even though it was handball although I do believe it wasn't deliberate! A draw would of been a fair result! But as a cardiff fan ill happily take 3 points
As mentioned above, two week break now, plenty of time to bring in a new manager and CEO. Hopefully evans has finally realised that the current regime are useless twats and acts fast, if not then we are deffo going down and shame on anyone that thinks Jewell needs more time!!
Very good first half performance and we defended pretty well in the second apart from 2 terrible individual mistakes. This game is the story of our season. Every game we can take positives from but that is all we can, no points. Performances on the whole have been good but every game follows the same pattern, we dominate teams miss a gilt edged chance heads drop then we make individual errors at the back. Somethings got to give soon. I thought DJ and Wellens played well today but you could see they were tiring by the second half so I could understand why he took them off but the thing was we didn't have a chaser upfront when he went off DJ occupied 2 men whereas Scotland only 1 so I think we should have gone 442. I thought Edwards was outstanding today again, is he really 33/34 unbelievable athlete!! I thought Drury had a fairly poor game. And I really do think JET and Martin should swap positions. Martins decent and lively but he has no real end product despite his endeavour rarely comes up with the goods, JET may be hot and cold but you just get the feeling at some point something will happen with him centrally. Plus I think Martin would offer more cover for Edwards!!
Jewell has proven tonight that he is tactically inept and basically useless! I mean here we are desperately needing a win and we start as a 4-5-1 WTF is going on in his head? The subs he made in the second half were a complete joke! You play DJ up with someone who he can play off like Scotland not leave him isolated on his own! Agree with ptc's post. Evidence for the argument in your last paragraph was clear today, our goal came from Martin on the wing, JETs best moments were him working centrally.
Cant agree JWM. The way we were set up was evidently working in the first half, it was stopping cardiff playing and we were getting our chances. Marshall made a good save, one was cleared off the line, and a good few were completely wasted. Still clear we dont have a lot to offer from the bench to keep the momentum as players tire but cant argue with the way we started.
You're only 4 points adrift, and once you've beaten us then it'll be 1. You played well today, even if your goal was a blatant piece of ****ish cheating
Mike I know that you are still the biggest cheerleader for Jewell on here but he simply has to walk and now! You can't expect much when you start at home with a 4-5-1, and then sit back in the second half as we did! When Cardiff scored the equaliser we all knew who would win! Carlos was our best player and Cresswell/Loach were just poor! Stop making excuses for the man and just admit that we are going down unless Jewell is fired.
