Hull City could be set to record their best home start to a league campaign for 32 years with a victory over Queens Park Rangers on Saturday. Hull City could be set for their best home start to a season The Tigers have won their three home games so far this season, recording wins against Huddersfield Town, Fulham, and Preston North End, and have their eyes set on a fourth home win against QPR, following Tuesday’s 2-0 win away at Cardiff City. The last time Hull City recorded four wins from their first four home games, former Middlesbrough and England manager, Steve McClaren, was a first team regular for the Tigers. The 1983/84 season saw the East Yorkshire, then Humberside, club claim consecutive home victories against Burnley, Millwall, Lincoln and Wimbledon. Current manager, Steve Bruce, started his Hull City tenure with three home wins, and is hoping to improve on that on Saturday. The Tigers are currently fourth in the Sky Bet Championship, a point below Middlesbrough in second, and six points below table-toppers Brighton and Hove Albion. Queens Park Rangers lie eighth in the table, a point below the play-off places, and two points below Hull City.
