Is all i think we need, a striker, a real goal poacher, sorted defence and midfield out, yeah we may need a left winger, but at this rate we'll be having a whole new team, so i think steed could have one more season on the left for him, maybe less pressure on him to score now gardner is in, i know he cant score for ****, so maybe its a good thing he may not need to, so yeah a striker and i would say that is that.. but i'm not steve bruce, who would we all like this striker to be??
I think the left side needs serious attention, it's been neglected for too long in my opinion and with the quality reinforcements for the rest of the team, it's time for us to stop making do.
And i thought I'd get serious replies, silly me, But I'd like to see Defoe, yeah peoples mixed opinions about him but his goal record speaks for itself, O Shea can cover LB in my opinion
For me it's not about covering positions... We NEED to sort out the left side because we are not effective at all down the left. Two left footers, if we're going to sign O'Shea for left back we may as well have not bothered as we could just play Bardsley there if we don't want width.
Sorry mate you asked who we would like. Maybe you should have just given us choices, instead of letting us have a free reign.
