It is not Shrek but Vidic all the way - who carries your team...

You were jumping for beating Arsenal's Z team 8-2 at OT.. ?!

even with 10 you think you would compete, and then there's the fans, just giving up like that. <ok>
somehow no red for anderson, 3 yellows he should have gotten

Agreed. I've had a giggle, but this is annoying.

Agreed. However this thread wasn't started by a Liverpool fan.

I suggest us Liverpool lads keep the piss-taking to the banter thread <ok>

The Arsenal scoreline looked good on paper but any sensible fan knew that Arsenal were down to the bare bones.

Vidic is a big player for us but even with him missing the game was tight and nicely poised until the sending off. Chasing the game with 10-men against a solid defensive unit with quick players who can hit you on the break was always going to be difficult. It reminded me of the 1-4 loss to Liverpool a few seasons ago when Vidic was red carded.

In any case, history will only remember the scoreline.

    Congrats to City fans :emoticon-0150-hands

The stupid wumming is not good but handling defeat is part of the game. Some banter is fair, just nonsense winding up of people with bollox is not on. I enjoyed the game before and after the sending off. I know mancs relish a liverpool beating like tre one we got at spurs:)

noone is bothering to agree with the op anyway, the One man team stuff is sooo last year:)

Vidic would also have his hands full with Citys front line. Evans is not bad, just a little stupid as De Gea might have stopped it. Anderson very lucky indeed. Young was Uniteds best player

its nowt to do with vidic, city have got a good squad that have a taste for winning games and they will improve I reckon, but if they can do it the whole season, they haven't yet so?

i agree partly.. Whole season is a huge question having known Mancini's gripes of not having enough mid-fielders already..

Season starts on New Year day 2012.. Where Fergie has a huge advantage over everyone else including Dalglish.

He couldnt have done a worse job than evans. I think we were well in the game untill Evans ****ed things up. Doesn't excuse how we gave up but it wouldn't have happened with Vidic.

Quite an ironic thread considering Chelsea is carried by Abramovich

It should probably be pointed out that considering Vidic has been injured since the first game - we've just lost one game.

We are paying the price for having a rotated back-4 as much as anything else.

we do accept & appreciate Abramovich..

and some of your fickle fans already called for Fergie; He is to you what Roman is to us..
