Well not what we wanted today but we only lost one game so far. At least we are getting points on the board till the new players arrive.

from the stats it looks like burnley were on top, but at the same time when i was watching gillette soccer saturday i think they said burnleys first goal was against the run of play.

its a good away point, 7 points from your first 4 games is not bad at all, especially for a team with a few new players and manager.

    well done malky <cheers>

It's said repeatedly, 2 points a game for promotion. But we've only got 1.75. :emoticon-0107-sweat

i'd settle for that H. Long way to go with some toppsy turvey results at the moment. Lots of twists and turns in the next 8 months.

A long way to go and more twists to come. Still not convinced that MM was the best choice but will back him. Need some quality signings if we're to push for promotion. I reckon we'll be in the top 10 come Dec and will be happy with that at the moment.

Lets be realistic. The squad is nowhere near good enough for promotion. This season is all about laying the foundations.

    Good point yesterday.

MM probably wasn't a lot of peoples 'first choice' but personally, I don't think anybody can deny the work he has done so far given the mess we were in a not long ago. Granted what we've seen on the pitch hasn't always been easy on the eye and we're all agreed on the fact we still need a few more additions to strengthen the squad but I think any manager would take 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss from the first 4 games. Transfer that over the season and 7pts from every block of 4 games would give us 80pts (not including the .5) Of course it doesn't work like that and I've already seen doom and gloom elsewhere but I'm staying optimistic and I'd certainly rather be in Malky's shoes than Paul Jewels at the moment :)

Thai..I watched Peterborough's training session last night and in Towns defense, I thought the first red card was a bit harsh and the penalty decision was shocking (hope we never get that ref/assistant combo). Other than that they were ****e.

Agreed with both points and maybe 7-1 was a bit harsh but even taking away those two factors POSH were always going to win I think. Town were easily 2nd best in every department.

I don't know if 7-1 was harsh...could have been more tbh. Not good to see any side collapse like that though after going ahead. Still, not my problem and you're obviously loving it being a Canary so every cloud... :)

Didn't norwich start off a season by being hammered badly not so very long ago, whatever happened to them after that?

They scored in the second minute, how can you tell who's the better side in 2 minutes?
