We looked much better, much much better when he came on and he is getting back to form, i can't wait till he gets his full form back, he is going to be unstoppable. None of the forwards were bad today, we have been a bit casual and relaxed at OT in recent games and I know that if we play like we did in the 2nd half in future games we would win them convincinly, credit to Spurs though none of our players could catch up with Bale who ran riot in the 1st half.
WIth us 2-0 up, i just knew Rooney would come on and inspire Utd, add that to the fact Scholes decided to be Pirlo, it gave Nani the space to have that touch of arrogance which makes him put in great performances. First half Nani looked rather clueless, few tricks and a cross hoping to find a player, while Kawaga was running around like a headless chicken, What Fergie has to work out, is how to get Utd playing games as they did in the second half, as 1st half we won the midfield battle and controlled the game with ease, it was far too easy in the first half, but credit has to go too Dembele and our tactics being spot on. RVP may have got all the headlines this season, yet Rooneys drive, aggression and sheer attacking quality is what makes United tick, so for any Utd fan to question if you need him, or not, its ludicrous.
