Looking at the highlights for Saturday I could see that our sloppy habits have survived the season. Bristol's goal saw Wilkinson jogging at a snails pace with no thought of making a tackle, Wagstaff and O'Neil both decided to play ref when they stopped playing and raised their imaginary flags in the air, the centre backs allowed a player unmarked to waltz around on the penalty spot. Will we ever learn?
It was an identical goal to the last minute winner for Rovers in last season'e 1-2 defeat. On both occasions Gills have allowed an opponent to run a long way with the ball without being challenged - not good enough ! - we deserved a point for the 2nd half effort - but could have lost everything by not challenging - I keep saying - - 100% effort needed all the time.
