Who is the only player to have amassed over 100 yellow cards during the Premier League Era? Just a question at work and racking my brain for the answer
Got to be Bowyer though I think Kevin Davies won't be far behind. I seem to remember that this is a list that George Boateng features pretty highly up
This is what I came up with: For a season: 14 held by the following Paul Ince (Wolves, 2003/04) Robbie Savage (Leicester, 2001/02) Olivier Dacourt (Everton, 1998/99) Mark Hughes (Southampton, 1998/99) Savage also holds the career mark at 85. Amazingly though, with all those yellows, he only ever got ONE red card.
Top 20: Lee Bowyer 101 Kevin Davies 97 Robbie Savage 89 Paul Scholes 89 George Boateng 85 Patrick Vieira 82 Scott Parker 78 Phil Neville 75 Gavin McCann 74 Nicky Butt 73 Roy Keane 71 Paul Ince 70 Kevin Nolan 70 Gareth Barry 69 Frank Sinclair 68 Gary Speed 68 Lucas Neill 67 Alan Smith 67 Luis Boa Morte 66 Richard Dunne 65 Wayne Rooney 65 Dennis Wise 65
Richard Dunne 8 Duncan Ferguson 8 Patrick Vieira 8 Vinnie Jones 7 Roy Keane 7 Alan Smith 7 Luis Boa Morte 6 Nicky Butt 6 Andrew Cole 6 John Hartson 6 Franck Queudrue 6 David Batty 5 Francis Benali 5 George Boateng 5 Lee Bowyer 5 Lee Cattermole 5 Ugo Ehiogu 5 Steven Gerrard 5 Don Hutchison 5 Martin Keown 5 Tugay Kerimoglu 5 Frank Leboeuf 5 Steve Lomas 5 Carlton Palmer 5 Frank Sinclair 5 Jason Wilcox 5 Dennis Wise 5
Never knew luisboa morte was such a dirty player !!! And Lee catermole 5 at his age surely at his cutter rate he will top that list within 2 seasons
Can't believe Rooney is in the list for yellows - all the others are old bastards with a long career. If Rooney carries on like this he'll end up comfortably ahead of Bowyer. He is a dirty whinging twat mind.
