Afternoon newroader.. Thanks a lot for letting both myself and all other football supporters know about the death of Stan Willemse. Also grateful for the link that you have provided for us all to read about his career etc. I do remember him well and he was a talented and tough full back, no doubt about it as Sir Tom has made very plain. Of course most supporters of other clubs will never have heard of this iron man who played at full back for Chelsea, it's the march of time I am afraid but how refreshing that football fans like yourself can remind others about past events in football history. I am sure that your article will encourage many visitors to view this thread, and in so doing possibly learn a bit more about our National game. Thanks again, much appreciated...
