    During their IRS label years - first five albums - REM were utterly untouchable.

    Pals of mine are now playing in a REM tribute band, only playing songs from those years.

    I'd like to see them and having said that Green and Automatic For The People were the not the worst.My fave hmm Murmor or Document not sure but yeah the IRS years they were at their best
