Cheers VJ that brought back some great memories from my college days used to leave my old bush record player going all night with the arm left up took three months before it blew up still under guarantee the bloke at bergs couln't believe the state it was in when i took it back. One band i loved back then but never get a mention were the Grease band worth a listen.
I remember them. Cactus was another. We all know the big names, Free, Purple, Hendrix, Cream etc but tend to forget who they were influenced by. The `underground` scene produced dozens of innovative bands of musicians who could actually play (Yes, Tull). We have a lot to thank John Peel for. Used to record his shows on an old reel to reel and play them till the tape shredded.
