Just a thought, but should the Bates bandwagon finally leave town. We might find that Elland Road's ownership is not so clear, with the newest parts and pavilion not included in the sale. It might be time to move to pastures new (approx 200m down Elland Road to the car park / council's land to be exact). But do not panic, as should this situation arise we can have a ready to dismantle 25,000 seater stadium kit for the cost of taking it away. The kind people in Darlington have an unused Arena awaiting collection and removal... I Imagine it could be the largest item ever "FREE CYCLED". In future years it would be easy to add extra tiers without any trouble. Alternatively. If we fancy a full change I am sure the Council will still gift us our old spot in East Leeds, which is now an enterprise zone and would come with plenty of tax benefits. So just a thought Uncle Ken, careful what cleaver little arrangements you leave in place as we will leave rather than give you another penny
