One Canary Doesn´t Make A Summer

What some fans expect´s hard to meet
We´re not of the PL elite,
We´re just one of those
Who at the May close
Will be hoping we retain our seat

I´m not sure how one season here
Up in the country´s premier tier,
Should just overnight
Then give us the right
To assume points will come here and there

But to start calling now for the head
Of C. Hughton as I lately read,
Is foolish indeed
And not what we need
So I´m hoping that idea won´t spread

And any points picked up away
Would be most helpful to our stay,
But realistically
We´re much more likely
To find it´s at home where things pay

When there, we should give most a run
As so far this year we have done,
And to help the cause
Make wins out of draws
To add to our total points sum

And we´re not the only ones here
To not yet have a win appear,
Another five more
Are still waiting for
Their first three-pointer this year

And when it comes, the win will be
In a game none expected to see,
For such is football
Impossible to call
So why not Saturday next at three. OTBC

 

Morning RBF, straight to the point as usual, we've earned the right to PLAY in this league, we have not earned the right to expect a comfortable win over anybody in this league!

If we keep playing the way we have since the Fulham mauling, wins will come, and probably, as you say sir, where we least expect it!

I honestly don´t know what some fans expect Dave, I really don´t, with just a touch more luck at both ends, we could actually have won three of the last four games, and drawn at Newcastle, no problem. Must be getting old I guess.

 

Dead right rbf we are always going to be in the scrap so just sit back and enjoy the ride, the manager will not be displaced by canary call muppets

 

Ah! not surprised it was Canary Callers, never listen to it if I can help it, do occasionally hear the first few minutes by accident sometimes, but

 

My family have now called Canary Call, 'Canary Whinge' for a good few years now. Occasionally listen to it for a laugh but Rob Butler has made it so much worse. At least McVeigh, when he's on, talks sense and so did Neeeyull.
