The return of Taarabt. I thought we would never see him play for us again so it is a massive bonus.

When he came on suddenly we were far more positive. He was constantly looking for the ball and do something with it.

There is no comparison between Fer and Taarabt for the number 10 role, none.

For a player who is supposed to be unfit he looked fine to me.

??? Picked the ball up, tried to beat half the West Ham team then shot from 30yds. Then after 10 minutes went back to sulking around.

He looked ok and gave us a bit more going forward but he wasn't that great, mostly just ran and lost the ball trying to do too much or took long pot shots, started sulking a bit towards the end as well!

Think your out order there, he was trying be positive & we didn't see any of that until he came on, of course trying to beat players as no one else did, why pick on him?

I'm not saying he was great when he came on but he was far far better than Fer in that role. Taarabt was actually looking to get on the ball something that you couldn't accuse Fer of.

He moved the ball much quicker and looked to try to make things happen.

Fer is Taarabt-lite. Nowhere near as good.

Taarabt looked far better than fer in the number 10 always trying positive things yeah sometimes he lost the ball but least it's in their final 3rd of the pinch and not in our half

Adel hadn't spent the previous 60 minutes holding the team together...
Fer was not good, but he was trying and running.

It easy to come on with 20 minutes to go, 2-nil down and just wait for the perfect ball to have a go

Tarbs was not a revelation, they were all poor... a few cared more than others...Traore, Ned, Fer, Niko, Henry, Zamora.... one in particular couldn't give a damn...Rio...sorry make that two Arry.

I actually hoped that TF tweet meant he had enough....I cannot believe he has bought into Arrys team is not fit enough....they are fit enough, there is no self belief, no passion

Sorry it hurt to be there.
    I am hurting and embarrassed

You watched a different game to me Beth if you thought Fer was trying. He looks a complete show-pony to me. Taarabt is too, but he's twice the player imo.

If Taarabt had come on and been awful he would have been criticised. He comes on and does quite well and.....he's criticised. Traore, Ned, Fer, Nico, Sandro, all had far worse games than Ferdinand imo.

Adel looking 30% fit, brought more life to us than anyone for about a year and a half apart from Nico the previous 2 games. Fer is a good player. He's just lost in a crap team, which is crap due very poor Management organisation I think.

I fail to see how it's all Rio's fault this time.

I'd drop him for Ned, but there were far worse players out there today............far worse!!

Taarabt showed more will to change the way the game was going in that 20 minutes than any other QPR player I've seen this season. A new manager needs to come in and put him back on his pedestal and build the team around him.

If you look at most of the international sides during the world cup, most of the successful sides did this. One luxury player who could change a game with ten worker ants supporting him.

This is exactly what Warnock did in that wonderful Championship winning side.

Now I know that the Premier League is a world apart from that, but simply picking a different team and formation every week (4-2-3-1 today) is not going to be the answer.
Play Taarabt behind a striker, or even 2 strikers and keep him there. I actually think we should have stuck with the three at the back, which allows us to play two forwards.
